At the UNC Charlotte Violence Prevention Center (VPC), community engagement is at the core of our mission. We believe that meaningful change happens through collaboration, trust, and active partnerships with the communities we serve. Our approach to community engagement is rooted in mutual respect, shared goals, and a commitment to addressing violence through community-informed solutions.

Through our partnerships with local organizations, community leaders, and public agencies, we work to identify, address, and prevent violence in ways that resonate with and benefit those impacted. Our initiatives are designed to support communities in creating safe, resilient, and equitable environments.
