Akanksha Das, Ph.D.

Akanksha Das, PhD is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and postdoctoral research fellow at the Mid-Atlantic Mental Illness Research, Education & Clinical Center at the Durham VA Health Care System. Her research centers on identifying multilevel factors that promote health equity, including individual-level mental health mechanisms and systems-level determinants of health. She is also interested in leveraging policy-focused implementation science and community-engaged research to increase access to culturally responsive health care and social services.
