Kim DeFiori

Dr. Kim DeFiori is a retired Army officer turned public health researcher. After military service, she completed her PhD in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, where her work centered on suicide prevention and mental health among service members, veterans, and LGBTQ+ communities. She also holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Her research is grounded in both her training and her lived experience as a veteran.
