Lin is a fourth year student in the Health Psychology PhD program– Clinical track. He is broadly interested in understanding how institutions influence the behavior of individuals, with a particular focus on barriers to bystander intervention for problematic alcohol use and the impact of policy on bystander intervention likelihood. He is also interested in examining the sexual health concerns of sexual and gender minority populations, and improving intervention efficacy for this population. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He successfully defended his Master’s thesis in 2025 as part of his Health Psychology PhD program.
