Zihui Qiu
Zihui Qiu is an undergraduate student majoring in Psychology and Health & Medical Humanities, with minors in Chemistry and Biology. With the goal of becoming a physician, she has a wide range of interests in traumatic injuries, pediatrics, and women’s health. Zihui is a research assistant in the BIPAUM Lab with Dr. Annelise Mennicke and Dr. Erika Montanaro where research is focused on informing programs for bystander intervention of problematic alcohol use for college students. In addition to research, she works for the UCAE as a PAL (Peer Assisted Learning) Leader for general chemistry. Outside of academics, Zihui enjoys doing anything creative, including playing violin in the UNCC orchestra, playing piano, crocheting, and knitting.
