OPEN POSITIONS

Postdoctoral Fellow in Suicide Prevention Training

UNC Charlotte’s Violence Prevention Center seeks a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow to support suicide prevention training research. This 40 hr/week, $60,000–$70,000 temporary appointment is designed for recent Ph.D. graduates pursuing academic or research careers.

Ideal candidates bring experience in mental health, suicide prevention, military health, or health professions training, along with quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research skills (SPSS/R/STATA/MPlus; NVivo/Dedoose/MaxQDA; RedCap/Qualtrics). Strong communication, curriculum development skills, and comfort working with sensitive topics are essential.

Responsibilities include coordinating multi-site research, overseeing data collection, preparing datasets, supporting IRB submissions, co-authoring publications, and developing suicide prevention training materials. The fellow will receive mentorship from Dr. Cramer and collaborate with project co-investigators while building an independent research agenda.
